SmartAgent Version 10.3.1

Release Date: August 21, 2026

Version Overview

SmartAgent 10.3.1 is a 10.3.x maintenance release, integrating JavaAgent 9.16.4 and NodejsAgent 8.0.3, and optimizing ebpfagent, log space over-limit cleanup, and deep container monitoring.

  • ✨ JavaAgent 9.16.4: Support ClickHouse JDBC URL parsing; support configuring SSL protocol versions; fixed missing memory events in profiling (affects: 9.16.1 / SmartAgent 10.3.0)

  • 🔧 NodejsAgent 8.0.3: Fixed Safari unable to play downloaded MP4 files (affects: 6.0.0~8.0.2 / SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.3.0)

  • 🔧 ebpfagent: Added client.ip/port and server.ip/port tags to HTTP network spans

  • 🔧 Log cleanup / container monitoring: Optimized batch cleanup when log space exceeds the limit; optimized deep container monitoring (users of Docker 20.10+ or CRI-Containerd are advised to upgrade)

Upgrade Recommendation
  • Environments using JavaAgent 9.16.1 (SmartAgent 10.3.0) with missing memory events in profiling should upgrade as soon as possible;
  • Environments using NodejsAgent with Safari unable to play downloaded MP4 files should upgrade as soon as possible;
  • Users of Docker 20.10+ or CRI-Containerd who rely on deep container monitoring are advised to upgrade to this version.

Linux x86_64 System

Supported Platform Versions

  • One Platform: V2.2.2 and above

Integrated Agent Versions

  • JavaAgent: 9.16.4
  • DotnetAgent: 6.16.2
  • PHPAgent: 8.7.0
  • PythonAgent: 8.8.0
  • NodejsAgent: 8.0.3
  • NginxAgent: 3.10.3
  • ApacheAgent: 3.5.0
  • SDKAgent: 5.17.0
  • GoAgent: 5.1.0
  • logsAgent: 3.0.3

Feature Optimizations and Fixes

1. JavaAgent Upgraded to 9.16.4

New Features

  • Support ClickHouse JDBC URL parsing;
  • Support configuring SSL protocol versions:
{install_dir}/bonree/apm/scripts/bonree-agent.sh \
--reset-conf java/bonree.yml "common.SSL_PROTOCOLS: [TLSv1.2]"

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed missing memory events in profiling (affects: JavaAgent 9.16.1, SmartAgent 10.3.0).

2. NodejsAgent Upgraded to 8.0.3

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Safari unable to play downloaded MP4 files (affects: NodejsAgent 6.0.0~8.0.2, SmartAgent 6.0.0~10.3.0).

3. SmartAgent Self Optimizations

  • ebpfagent: Added client.ip/port and server.ip/port tags to HTTP network spans;
  • Optimized batch cleanup when log space exceeds the limit: improved the cleanup mechanism when log space is over the limit; at most 2000 files are cleaned per round; if space is still over the limit and files were successfully deleted in the current round, the next round starts immediately, avoiding failure to free disk space in time due to a large number of small files;
  • Optimized deep container monitoring. Recommendation: Users of Docker 20.10+ or CRI-Containerd are advised to upgrade to this version.

Linux ARM64 System

  • logsAgent: 3.0.3

Feature Optimizations and Fixes

Platform Notes

Updates on this platform are largely consistent with Linux x86_64; the main difference is the supported agent range.

Feature Optimizations and Fixes

  • Same as Linux x86_64 (including JavaAgent 9.16.4 upgrade, and ebpfagent, log space over-limit batch cleanup, and deep container monitoring optimizations)
  • Does not include NodejsAgent or ApacheAgent upgrades (not supported on ARM64)

Notes

  • ARM64 does not currently support NodejsAgent or ApacheAgent
